Our dress code is Black Tie (read more here) - the perfect excuse to pull out your finest!

For the gents, this means a tuxedo (also known as a dinner jacket), complete with a black bow tie, crisp white shirt, cufflinks, and formal shoes. Traditional black or midnight blue are both spot on, but feel free to add your own flair with smart accessories like braces, a cummerbund or a pocket square. We suggest renting your black tie (unless you already own one) and bringing it with you to Wells.

Ladies, we’d love to see you in a floor-length gown (or jumpsuit), or an elegant midi dress. Think rich fabrics, bold colours, and maybe even a bit of sparkle. We welcome all colours - please just steer clear of white or anything bridal-esque. There will be plenty of dancing so you might want to either wear comfortable block heels or bring spare shoes.

The vibe is classic, celebratory, and a little bit glam. So dress up, feel fabulous, and get ready to raise a glass (or two) with us —we can’t wait!
